Wish I would have watched this video sooner…I have been stalling with weight loss and feeling like I am not doing good enough, well I know that my calorie intake is less than 500, so I will try increasing and seeing if that will help…I love your videos and wish you were on every now and then….
VSG is the first part of a 2 stage procedure. I originally went in to for the Duodenal Switch, but there were complications & the surgeon was only able to perform the first stage of the procedure. The second part re-routes your intestines so you have malabsorption, I originally was going to go in for the 2nd part, but have found the success with VSG as a standalone procedure. I’m so glad, because I feel totally normal, just get full very fast. I don’t have to worry about vitamin deficiencies.
Hi …I just had my Gastric Sleeve on May 7th and was released from the hospital yesterday. I’m having severe pain in top part of my stomach when I drink fluids. Did you experience anything like that? The doctors wanted to keep me for two more days but I asked then to send me home. I was going crazy be confined to the hospital room. My in home nurse is scheduled to visit me for a week so I guess Ill be okay.
You dont have to do the shakes forever, most people though my doctor stops shakes after 2 weeks! Try protein water, like Icopure if your not getting in enough… YOu LOOK Great!
wooo hooo! you are doing so fab girl! I just found this video. I was out of town for almost a week and missed this one! so glad i looked for updates from you! Isn’t Onederland Awesome?! You look smokin hot! Woo hoo!! Thanks for updating!!!
Awesoe job! I can’t believe you have lost that much in just 4 months. Whoa! I got my sleeve 4 weeks ago and I am only down 21 pounds (including 11 preop). But it will come…I will get to the gym here soon now that I am allowed. Keep it up! You are an inspiration. PS can you tell me how many caloreis you are consuming everyday? I am up to 600-700 and 70 grams of protein…
